The premium class lounge network was launched by the United Airlines in 2016. This is a more luxurious lounge in comparison with United Club, managed by the same airline. United Polaris boasts lots of additional amenities and great design.
United Polaris Lounge Design and Amenities
The United Polaris ORD was designed by the reputable agency SCB. The main idea of the lounge design is to avoid passengers’ stress when changing the plane cabin for a comfortable lounge ambiance. The passengers still enjoy their trip, while staying at the spacious lounge of 12,000-square-foot area. The lounge is divided into several zones – for working, resting, and eating. The lounge is very clean. It is designed in warm fresh colors, like blue, white, grey, and yellow.
Personalization is part of the lounge design conception. That’s why the seating places are quite private here as they are separated from each other by short wooden walls. Such a separate seating place includes a comfortable soft armchair, a small table, and a lamp on it. There are also hookups for your electronic devices.
From the seating area, you may come to the comfortable bar, where the barrister will prepare a drink for you (either aphonic or non-alcoholic).
In the buffet, the food menu is very extensive and includes light snacks and hot dishes, like potato wedges, bacon, sausages, etc. Food and drinks are free for lounge visitors.
In the back of the lounge, there’s a sit-down restaurant for those, who plan to have a full luxurious dinner instead of an ordinary meal in the buffet.
As for the body wash options, in the Polaris lounge, there’s a huge row of private bathrooms.
United Polaris Lounge Peculiarities
Polaris Lounge is luxurious. It is spacious and cozy. In comparison with other lounges, it offers travelers a higher level of privacy in the seating area and the restrooms. There are several eating/drinking zones here to satisfy any traveler’s taste and needs. There are tables with the United Airlines personnel that are targeted to help you.
